The following was recently received from Maggie (Peterson) Dixon:

"I sure enjoyed the pictures that [Jim Hanson] sent and hated to miss the get together. I sure want to come to our class Xmas party if I am able. Yes, I am getting chemo every other week if my white cells are ok & platelets too. I had chemo this past Wednesday for a couple of hours & then came home with a pump attached to me for 46 hours. I gave my pump a name “Elmer Fudd”. He is my side kick & likes to ride on my left side during the day, but at night he likes to be on my right side so he can be in between Pete & me. This is my 3rd time with this new chemo. It does tire me out, but I just go slow.
Our daughter, Mindy came for an overnight recently and we celebrated her 50th B-day which is on Nov. 11th, but she will be in LA from Nov. 7-19th so we got it in before she left. Got to go to our great granddaughter Millie’s baptism this past Oct. 27th up in N. St. Paul/Maplewood, MN. It was so special & much to be thankful for. We do have our bumps, but the blessings far out weigh them.
A warm hello to everyone. Thanks so much for the prayers & thoughts. Maybe I can bring a few jokes to tell on Dec. 5th if I don’t have to go for chemo on that day.

Hugs, Maggie"

A perfectly Fall day set the scene for a perfectly SUPER Class Luncheon at the Porter Creel Restaurant in Burnsville, MN, where 30 classmates, significant others, friends gathered for yet another round of great food and great conversation.   Porter Creek even created a special menu "branded" to the Class of '61.
